Apple TV's 10/100BASE-T ethernet port looks to be a standard port to connect Apple's "TV appliance" to a home router, like Apple's Airport Extreme (assuming you want to use cables).

But...

Can I use Apple TV's ethernet port to plug, let's say, a PlayStation 3 in it so that it (the PS3) can have access to the internet?

If can't find the answer anywhere but the Apple TV being a wirelessly connectable device, I'd think it's possible but I'd feel more confident about the whole thing if somebody would be so kind as to provide me with a real-life experience confirmation.

Many thanks, in advance!
